Clear fees. Before you sell.
Creating an account and publishing a listing are free. Our marketplace commission is 10% of the final card sale price, deducted from the seller’s proceeds when a connected seller completes a cash sale.
A $250 example
On a $250 card sale, the marketplace fee is $25. The seller keeps $225 from the card price before Stripe processing fees and any other costs. If the buyer pays $5 shipping, that $5 is excluded from our commission. Postage and packaging are still the seller’s responsibility.
What the buyer pays
The buyer pays the agreed card price and the displayed shipping charge. We do not add a 10% buyer fee.
Payment processing and authentication
Stripe processing fees are separate from the marketplace commission and depend on the seller’s payment account and transaction. Authentication, grading, postage, and insurance are not included in the 10% fee. No authentication service is purchased automatically.
When the fee applies
The commission is calculated from the final card price, including an accepted cash offer, and rounded to the nearest cent. Unpaid or canceled checkouts do not collect a commission. Existing orders retain the terms recorded when checkout began.
Card-for-card offers currently require the collectors to agree on fulfillment; they do not collect payment or a marketplace commission through checkout.
Current payment availability
Checkout for additional sellers is still being connected. Listing a card does not activate seller payments. Sellers must accept these fee terms and complete payment onboarding before cash checkout can be enabled.
Cards sold directly by Collectors Factory are paid into the business’s own Stripe account; there is no separate seller account or commission transfer for that inventory.
Returns and questions
Refunds require review. A support report does not automatically refund a payment or its commission. Contact [email protected] with the order reference.
